You really cant go wrong with any of the books from Sherri Duskey Runkers adorable Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site series, especially this one where Excavator takes center stage. (You know youre a parent when you call it an excavator and not just a digger, by the way.)

In this little board book, Excavator gets to work on the construction site piling up rocks, digging holes, and dumping scoops of dirt into Dump Trucks bed, all the while counting as he goes. A wonderful book for little ones learning their numbers, or little ones who just plain love trucks.
